White HouseWritten by Don Byrd

Today, a project called “Know Your Neighbor” (KYN) is launching, encouraging Americans to move past stereotypes and foster a nationwide dialogue on religious diversity. As I posted earlier this week, the project is supported by a coalition of 15 nonprofits, including the Baptist Joint Committee.

This afternoon, members of the coalition will also participate in a convening at the White House titled “Celebrating and Protecting America’s Tradition of Religious Pluralism.”

The BJC’s Brent Walker will be involved in a panel discussion.

You can watch the event online at this link.
