Members of the Religious Liberty Council (RLC) will gather online on Tuesday, June 2, from 11 a.m. until noon Eastern Time. They meet each year to elect officers for the RLC and to elect representatives of RLC to sit on the BJC Board of Directors. There are 13 RLC representatives who serve on BJC’s board, and the RLC is led by two co-chairs and a secretary. During this meeting, members of the RLC will vote on a slate of candidates during this time and hear updates from BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler. The meeting will be facilitated by the current co-chairs of the RLC: Amethyst Holmes and Rev. Kari Baumann.
People who have made a financial donation to BJC in the past three years are automatically members of the Religious Liberty Council, and they should have received an email invitation to this meeting on May 1, 2026.
