BJC Director of Education Charles Watson Jr. will speak on a webinar hosted by The Religious Freedom Center of the Freedom Forum titled “African Americans & Religious Freedom: New Perspectives for Congregations & Communities.”

The other speakers will be Rahmah Abdulaleem, Esq., executive director; KARAMAH: Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights; Rev. William H. Lamar IV, pastor, Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church; Teresa L. Smallwood, Ph.D., associate director, Public Theology and Racial Justice Collaborative; as well as academic partners and students; and will be moderated by Dr. Corey D.B. Walker, Wake Forest Professor of the Humanities and Freedom Forum Senior Fellow.

The webinar is a part of the The Religious Freedom Center of the Freedom Forum book launch on the same topic.
