Applications for the summer semester BJC Internship must be submitted by March 1, 2020. BJC internships are open to undergraduate and graduate students as well as individuals who have completed a degree program.

BJC interns work alongside our staff in our Capitol Hill office, where they perform clerical duties and provide constituent services. They also receive experience in legal and legislative advocacy, communications, education, mobilization and development. There is ample opportunity to explore interests and cultivate skills through writing, conducting research, engaging in multimedia projects, and assisting with coalition work and advocacy outreach. BJC interns gain first hand exposure to current issues concerning religious freedom and the separation of church and state. They also have the chance to make meaningful contributions to the important work of defending and extending religious liberty for all.

In addition to a monthly stipend, BJC interns receive free housing on Capitol Hill.

The internship selection process is competitive. A demonstrated interest in religious liberty matters is desirable but not required.
