Open House at the new Baptist Joint Committee on Religious LibertyWritten by Don Byrd

If you follow closely the work of the Baptist Joint Committee, you are already aware that executive director Brent Walker has announced his retirement, effective at the end of this year. Here’s an update: the committee searching for the next director has posted the position and announced that applications are being accepted. Visit the search website here. See the position description here.

In addition, search committee chair Daniel Glaze has written a letter providing an update about the process and instructions on how to apply for the position. In it he asks: “If you know of someone who might be an excellent fit for this position, please encourage her or him to visit the website to learn more and to apply.”

You can read the letter here.
