Jaziah Masters, originally from Dallas, Texas, is a research fellow for the BJC Center for Faith, Justice and Reconciliation. He provides academic support to the Center and facilitates opportunities to better understand and engage the intersection of religious freedom and justice.

Masters is a 2017 graduate of Baylor University and earned his M.P.S. degree in the field of legislative affairs at George Washington University in 2021. He has experience serving as an intern in the U.S. Congress as well as in the Texas House of Representatives. Most recently, he served as the advocacy and outreach manager at BJC.

Masters is a graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School, earning a Master of Divinity degree. He also served as a 2023-2024 Fellow for the Wendland-Cook Program in Religion and Justice at Vanderbilt Divinity School.
