Make a Gift from Your IRA
Giving from your IRA with a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a smart, simple way to support faith freedom for all – without costing you more. To give from your IRA, your IRA institution must send the donation directly to BJC.
-
Here's Why it Works:
-
- Tax-Free Giving – Your gift counts toward your Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) but isn’t taxed as income.
- Avoid Extra Income – When certain conditions are met, your gift may reduce your AGI which may in turn reduce your Medicare premiums and tax bracket.
- No Itemizing Needed – You can benefit from this even if you don’t itemize deductions.
- Direct Impact – Every dollar goes to work right away!
- Easy to Do – One simple letter to your IRA provider makes it happen.
