Open House at the new Baptist Joint Committee on Religious LibertyWritten by Don Byrd

On July 18, Knollwood Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina hosted a memorial service to honor the life and legacy of Dr. James Dunn (1932-2015), the former Director of the Baptist Joint Committee. Video of the service is now available online.

I highly recommend it – a moving, beautiful, sometimes hilarious set of remembrances and meditations on a life that touched so many.

Speakers include BJC Executive Director Brent Walker, Rev. Dr. Bill Leonard, Knollwood Pastor Bob Setzer, and Melissa Rogers, who read letters from President Barack Obama and former President Jimmy Carter.
