No surprise here, but C-Span is confirming that Judge Sonia Sotomayor now has commitments of support from enough Senators to ensure her confirmation some time later this week.

Whether an individual has Article III standing to bring an Establishment Clause suit challenging the display of a religious symbol on government land and if an Act of Congress directing the land be transferred to a private entity is a permissible accommodation.
Monday, the Baptist Joint Committee filed a brief with the Court, arguing that standing should not be denied. Check back. More on that brief later…
