A New Hampshire judge has thrown out Michael Newdow's latest lawsuit challening the phrase "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mikey Weinstein, head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, has filed a lawsuit charging former Navy chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt with inciting violence against him. In public statements, Klingenschmitt, discharged from the Navy for, among other things, refusing to offer inclusive nonsectarian prayers in his officials duties, has been asking God to strike dead Weinstein and others critical of his position.

Updating an earlier post, the trial of Winslow Friday, an Arapaho Tribe member charged with the unlawful killing of a bald eagle in conjunction with a religious ritual, has been transferred to a tribal court. (via Religion Clause)
