In his Senate confirmation hearing yesterday, Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson was asked his thoughts on controversial Trump campaign proposals, including the idea of a ban on Muslim immigration and the creation of a Muslim registry. Tillerson says he does not favor a “blanket ban” based on religion; however, he did not rule out the idea of a registry. “I would need to have a lot more information over how such an approach would be constructed,” he replied.
