The Texas Board of Education has begun meeting yet again to debate Social Studies curriculum standards, picking up where they left off: with high school courses. Meanwhile, the Dallas Morning News reports that amid the growing media frenzy around the 3-day event, the Texas Education Agency even issued a press release criticizing one network for inaccurate reporting.
The board is poised to vote Friday on the new standards.
