Former BJC General Counsel Melissa Rogers was named to Newsweek's "10 Faces of the Christian Right." Of course, as Sarah Posner points out, Rogers is a passionate defender of the separation of church and state, a principle the Religious Right typically ridicules as some kind of diabolical plot invented out of whole cloth by radicals. If only the needle had moved so far that she qualified! The Christian Right might be a reasonable place.
