BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler will be speaking on a panel titled “God and Country” at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, Texas. Amanda will be joined by Dr. Anthea Butler, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, and Bart Barber, president of the Southern Baptist Convention. Moderated by Robert Downen, democracy reporter at The Texas Tribune, the panelists will discuss the pernicious rise of Christian nationalism.
