Devin Withrow is the community engagement associate at BJC, providing support for BJC’s  Christians Against Christian Nationalism network and BJC’s educational outreach and programming.

A graduate of Friends University, Withrow earned his bachelor’s degree in Religion and Philosophy with a minor in Writing. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Wake Forest University School of Divinity, with a concentration in Interfaith Literacy and Leadership. Withrow is working toward a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Withrow is based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A facilitator, speaker, and peacebuilder, he equips individuals and communities – on the local and national level – to engage in movement work, transformative conflict, and advocacy in order to build a more just, equitable, and inclusive society.

Married to Olena Withrow, he is a member of First Baptist Church on Fifth in Winston-Salem, N.C. In his personal time, he enjoys reading, writing, and rock climbing.
