BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler will be at First United Methodist Church of Denton, Texas, to speak about the dangers of Christian nationalism on Tuesday, September 3. The event is part of the church’s Church and Society Speakers’ Series.

In this session, they will delve into the topic of Christian Nationalism: What Is It? Why Should We Care?  It takes place from 7-8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Denton, located at 201 S Locust St., Denton, TX 76201.

The event is open to both the FUMC Denton congregation and the wider community, but you must RSVP. Click here to RSVP. 

When you arrive, please enter through the doors at the intersection of Mulberry and Austin Streets (wheelchair accessible). FUMC Denton offers parking behind the church, accessible from Mulberry Street, and in the lot on Sycamore Street. Accessible parking spaces are available on Mulberry Street.
