Dr. Sabrina E. Dent, director of the BJC Center for Faith, Justice and Reconciliation, will participate in the annual meeting of the Progressive National Baptist Convention (PNBC), held in Chicago July 20-23. Dr. Dent will bring greetings from BJC during a plenary session, and she will share copies of African Americans and Religious Freedom: New Perspectives for Congregations and Communities while at the event.
One of BJC’s member bodies, PNBC is a vital Baptist denomination with an estimated membership of 2.5 million people.
