The 2nd Circuit has decided not to expedite a hearing of Enfield, Connecticut's appeal in the church-state dispute over their plan to use a church building for graduation ceremonies. The school district has decided to drop its request for reconsideration of that decision, and proceed with plans to hold commencement on campus. According to the Hartford Courant, the Appeals Court declined the request because other options were already available.
