Communications Director

The Communications Director will be responsible for directing narrative change and strategy across multiple communications channels to defend faith freedom for all. The individual leads the communications team and works collaboratively across BJC’s cross-functional staff, and the Communications Director can work from any location.

Digital Donor Engagement Officer

The Digital Donor Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in enhancing BJC’s fundraising efforts by developing and executing digital strategies that drive donor engagement, retention, and acquisition. This full-time position can work from any location, and the person will focus on digital fundraising campaigns, online donor stewardship, and optimizing development operations through data management and technology solutions.

Policy Counsel

Working with BJC staff, the Policy Counsel will advance the organization’s strategic efforts to promote faith freedom for all, primarily in legislative and other policy arenas. A successful candidate will be an attorney who has a strong commitment to the organization’s mission, an ability to work well with a variety of constituencies internally and externally, and flexibility to adjust based on changing needs of the organization. The position reports to the general counsel and requires 2-7 years of experience.

BJC Internships

BJC offers fall, spring and summer internships to undergraduate and graduate students as well as individuals who have completed a degree program. Interns work alongside our staff in our Capitol Hill office, where they perform clerical duties and provide constituent services. They also receive experience in legal and legislative advocacy, communications, education, mobilization and development. There is ample opportunity to explore interests and cultivate skills through writing, conducting research, engaging in multimedia projects, and assisting with coalition work and advocacy outreach.
