BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler is speaking on a panel about religious freedom and Christian nationalism at the first-ever Americans United 2020 National Advocacy Summit.
The AU National Advocacy Summit will bring together AU supporters to learn, connect, advocate in the halls of Congress, and build the movement for separation of religion and government – the only way to ensure freedom of religion.
On September 14 at 3:30 pm, there will be a session titled “Dismantling White Privilege: Race, Religious Freedom and Christian Nationalism.” Featured presenters include BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler alongside the Rev. Naomi Washington-Leapheart, Villanova professor and AU Faith Advisory Council member; Dr. Khyati Joshi, Fairleigh Dickinson University professor and author of White Christian Privilege: The Illusion of Religious Equality in America; and Dr. Robert P.
