BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler will preach during the morning worship service at the First Baptist Church in America in Providence, Rhode Island. The worship service begins at 11 a.m., and the church is located at 75 North Main Street in Providence. You can find details about parking and attending the service on the church’s website.
The Sunday worship services are fully ASL interpreted for deaf and hard of hearing congregants. First Baptist Church in America also offers hearing assistance via a headphone system, which amplifies the spoken portions of the service.
Roger Williams gathered the First Baptist Church in America in 1638 on the bedrock of religious liberty, with its principles of soul freedom and the separation of church and state. The church continues its ministry of welcome and liberation.
