BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler will be the featured speaker at the End Christian Nationalism Conference, hosted by the Rhode Island State Council of Churches. It is part of their work to end Christian nationalism in Rhode Island and beyond, and the event is being held at the Community Church of Providence.

The day’s activities will also include workshops, engaging panel discussions with elected leaders, and lunch catered by Amos House. Other speakers at this day-long event include J. Stanley Lemons on Roger Williams; the Rev. Dr. Amy L. Chilton on parasites, patriarchy and Project 2025; the Rev. DL Helfer’s presentation on “Made in God’s Image”; Steve Ahlquist on covering school committees, trans rights, DEI, and book bans in Rhode Island; and Dr. Taino Palermo on the age of discovery and Christian nationalism.
