If you are attending The Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership’s spring conference in Charleston, S.C., come and visit BJC’s booth and learn more about our work during the marketplace segment. Dr. Sabrina E. Dent, director of the BJC Center for Faith, Justice and Reconciliation, and BJC Associate Director of Development Danielle Tyler will be at the conference, and Dr. Dent will be one of the featured authors during the event — she is the co-editor of African Americans and Religious Freedom: New Perspectives for Congregations and Communities.
The Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership is the premiere center for womanist theory and practice, endowed by Union Presbyterian Seminary. Their mission is to nurture the soul work of Black women as they cultivate pathways to whole communities.
