BJC Executive Director Amanda Tyler will present the Thomas E. Stricklin Lectures in Church History in Monroe, Louisiana. Hosted by Northminster Church, Amanda’s lecture is titled “The Dangers of Christian Nationalism to American Democracy and the Church.” The following day, Amanda will preach a sermon at Northminster Church’s worship service.
Here are more details for both the lecture and sermon:
On Saturday, November 11 Amanda’s lecture will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary, preceded by coffee, juice and breakfast snacks at 9:45 a.m. Amanda will preach at Northminster’s worship service on Sunday, November 12 at 10:45 a.m. The worship service will be followed by a pot-luck salad luncheon.
Both the lecture on Saturday and the service on Sunday will be live-streamed and archived on Northminster’s YouTube channel.
