Join BJC for a virtual event on Friday, June 18, broadcast live from the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Fierce Freedom will bring together  religious liberty advocates and supporters — and even those simply curious about this issue — across the country.

Our speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis, an author, activist and public theologian who serves as the Senior Minister of Middle Collegiate Church in New York City. Her new podcast, Love.Period, produced by the Center for Action and Contemplation, was released on Valentine’s Day, and her new book, Fierce Love (Penguin Random House) is available later this year.

This event will be a celebration of freedom for all, opportunities for conversation, and a challenge to re-think many of the ways our discussions of religious freedom have been white for too long.
