Liberty, that sweet word sounding
forth with a shout across the land!
Voice on voice with cheers resounding,
Led by God’s sustaining hand.

You were called to freedom, brother!
Sister, claim your freedom, too!
Side by side one with the other,
Free to live God’s will for you.

Onward, then, our nation ever
Striving lest we lose the fight,
For our freedom we will never
Cease upholding what is right.

We are children of two kingdoms:
Of our God and nation, too;
Each one sep’rate from the other,
Yet to both our service due!
