Over the weekend, Louisiana's Senate voted 30-6 to approve changes made in the House to a religious freedom act similar to other RFRA bills around the country. Now headed to Governor Jindal's desk for his signature, the measure requires the state to have a compelling reason to substantially burden religious exercise, and to limit that activity only in the most narrow, and least restrictive manner.
