Natalie Johnson-Abbott is the donor relations associate at BJC, providing administrative support for the development department and ensuring we can connect with the donors who support our work.

Johnson-Abbott has more than 15 years of experience in hospitality management, where she led diverse teams and complex operations before transitioning to the nonprofit sector. Her work with nonprofits centers on supporting mission-driven organizations and contributing to long-term change through research and advocacy.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Mary Washington. Her academic interests include the root causes and far-reaching effects of Christian nationalism in American public life.

A native of Fredericksburg, Va., Johnson-Abbott is a proud wife and mother in a blended family of six. When she is not embracing the chaos of a large family, she enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring local history.
