After an active first couple of years, we haven’t heard much from President Obama’s faith advisory council. Perhaps an indication it will be revving back up, the President extended the life of the Council for two years with an executive order Friday, just as the authorization for the Council was expiring.

Politico reports:

Last February, POLITICO’s Carrie Budoff Brown wrote on how the group had essentially dropped from the radar screen.

However, in recent months, it surfaced again, convening about half a dozen conference calls and at least a couple of in-person meetings. Much of its focus has been on human trafficking issues, something the administration highlighted Tuesday at a White House forum.
