A federal judge has stepped in and ruled Diamond Rio's song, "In God We Still Trust" an improper promotion of religion for a Florida school assembly. One read through the lyrics will give you an idea why Judge Harvey Schlesinger, who called the song "patently religious and proselytizing", issued an injunction prohibiting its performance at a mandatory school function.

Here's my favorite part :

Now there are those among us, who want to push Him out,
And erase His name from everything, this country's all about,
From the Schoolhouse to the Courthouse, they're Silencing His Word,
Now it's time for all Believers, to make our Voices heard.

I wonder who thought this song wouldn't likely inflame the students and parents who are non-religious?
