Roger Williams arrived in America on February 5, 1631. In the years that followed, he founded the First Baptist Church in America (FBCA), in Providence, Rhode Island. The church still stands today. Now, in honor of Roger Williams Day, we’re sharing a conversation between a Roger Williams historian and Rev. Jamie Washam, the current pastor at FBCA.
