In a column published today by WorldNetDaily, none other than Chuck Norris explains why he wants his newest sponsorship to be a part of every public school student's education. No, I'm not talking about the Chuck Norris World Combat League (maybe that's next year's educational improvement goal). I'm talking about the "Bible in Schools" campaign being pushed by the National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools.
Norris manages to take a swipe at the Texas Freedom Network (TFN) – which has offered a critique of the NCBCPS curriculum – and delivers a dazzling 1-2 combination to that radical liberal (sarcasm), Charles Haynes of the First Amendment Center, who, Chuck complains, "purports to be a helper 'for schools and communities [to] find common ground on conflicts involving religion and values in public schools.'" That Haynes does sound sinister, doesn't he?
