Wills and Bequests
Leave a Lasting Legacy
Many of our supporters leave a gift to BJC in their wills or trusts so they can do even more to protect nature for future generations.
You can, too.
Wills and Bequests
With the help of an adviser, you can include or modify language in your will specifying a gift to BJC as part of your estate plan. A bequest to BJC in this manner allows you to:
- Make larger gifts than would be possible during your lifetime.
- Retain control over your assets with the flexibility to modify your bequest if your circumstances change.
- Lessen the burden of estate taxes on your family.
- Know your gift will continue to ensure religious liberty even after you are gone. All bequests over $5,000 go into BJC’s endowment, generating income in perpetuity.
Ways to include BJC through a bequest
- Gift of a percentage of your estate.
- Gift of a specific dollar amount or asset.
- Gift from the balance or residue of your estate.
Donor Story
“What we are able to do for BJC now and will do in the future through our estate may not make a huge difference. However, we pray that we will be joined by many others who are able to offer their ‘meager gifts’ to be added to ours. Collectively, we may assure the ongoing success of BJC, securing the religious freedom of all citizens of these United States.”
Have you already made a gift through your will, retirement plan, or insurance policy for the future of faith freedom for all? If so, please let us know so we can thank you and welcome you to the James Dunn Legacy Circle.
