West Virginia Prosecutor Decides Ten Commandments Monument is A-OK

A Ten Commandments monument will stay on the courthouse lawn in West Virginia’s Wyoming County, despite the ACLU’s concern that it violates the separation of church and state. Not to worry, says County Prosecutor Michael Cochrane.

West Virginia Supreme Court Considers Religious Freedom Argument of Prisoner Confined to Home

In oral arguments today, the West Virginia Supreme Court heard the appeal of Charles Elder, a man convicted of horrible sexual abuse crimes against minors who because of his deteriorating health was sentenced to home confinement instead of prison. He wants to go to church.
